Your Statutory Rights - Cooling-off Period
By law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered to you. We regret that we also cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of any items where the item has been unsealed, or for goods supplied by electronic download where the download has been completed.
To cancel your purchase under this cooling-off period, please contact us, details are on our contact us page, giving the reason for the return as "contract cancellation". Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you after a "contract cancellation", we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.
All items must be inspected for damage upon delivery and any damage noted and signed for on the default note; you must contact us within 7 days of receipt with any damages or faults.
In the event of damage/fault it will be the Seller's responsibility to collect the goods, the Buyer will then be entitled to replacement goods or a full refund including delivery costs.
Where returned Goods are found to be damaged due to the Buyer's fault the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage plus any additional re-delivery costs.
The Buyer has the right to cancel the Goods. If you wish to cancel then please email us (sales@koolit.co.uk) or fax us (0870-787-4621) within 7 working days of the receipt of the Goods.
It is the Buyer's responsibility to return the goods 'as new' and un-used. This includes ALL the Goods original packaging and any manuals that were delivered with the Goods. The Buyer will then be entitled to a refund but less initial delivery costs; we reserve the right to charge a minimum £150 + VAT re-stocking fee. The Buyer is to pay all return costs and is advised to ensure that the Goods are adequately insured when they are being returned. The Buyer will also be liable for costs of re-packaging/manuals if they are not returned with the Goods.
The Buyer must return the goods within 14 working days of receipt and a refund will be processed within 30 days.

Prices
The Prices for Goods or Services are quoted in the catalogue excluding sales taxes or any other charges (unless otherwise stated).
Local sales tax (VAT at rate 15%) is charged on tax rated goods which are shipped by any means to territories to which this tax applies. In addition handling or packaging charges, postage and insurance may be applied if applicable to non-electronic download goods.
Any charges in addition to the cost of the goods in the catalogue are stated on the shop order form which can be seen before goods are paid for.
Delivery of Goods
Please note that we will not ship goods outside of the UK
We will process any order received for goods rapidly, and will aim to complete packaging and handing over to an appropriate delivery service within a maximum of 4 working days. In general you should receive your goods within 7 working days, but you should allow a maximum of 14 days. Please note this is subject to us holding stock of the item. We will call you if there is a problem with availability.
Suitability
By placing an order through our shop you are responsible for ensuring the item will be suitable for purpose. For example: if you need to store frozen foods please check that you have ordered a ‘freezer’ variant of the item, not a ‘chiller’. If you are unsure please call us for advice prior to purchase.

We will not normally deliver goods to a customer to a delivery address which is different to the invoice address the first time an order is made.
All of our goods are sent using a signed for service. We cannot send goods to a P.O. Box address.
Confidentiality
We collect information from you when you purchase goods to enable us to process your order and also to be able to get in touch with you in the rare event of any problems. We shall not disclose this information to any third party.
Suitablity
No products that we sell are suitable for children under the age of five years old. Parents are advised that our products may contain small parts.
Extent of Liability
All goods sold on this site are carefully checked and tested. In the case of software products, these are also scanned using up to date virus scanning tools and patterns.
In no circumstances whatsoever shall the liability of any parties involved in the supply of products via this site exceed the invoice value of any goods supplied.
