Hargreaves Food Packing Room

Not really a recent piece of work but this demonstrates the use of textile sock systems in food preparation and food packing rooms.

We installed this system, along with another one of similar size, around 10 years ago and the system is still going strong.

Refrigerated air is distributed through a coloured, textile, header duct and then sent down the room in two, coloured, air distribution ducts. These textile ducts have the benefit of providing unrivalled comfort conditions for occupants compared with regular ducting or a straight forward evaporator system within the area.

Air is forced through the whole of the weave within the textile duct meaning that, in essence, the whole of the textile sock becomes a diffuser – so as to eliminate draughts/etc.

Less complaints from your employees mean they are more productive at work. It’s a win win situation!

The ducts are cleaned by Sunlight cleaning contractors once per year as they can be removed easily. The ducts simply zip together and apart.

If you’d like to increase your productivity and have a band new textile sock system installed call Kool-It today on 0800-035-5665 today!
