A Refreshingly Simple Design

The stylish flat panel design creates a simplicity and sophistication that enhances any interior space. The flat panel can be cleaned with a single wipe.

Higher Energy Saving

The DC Inverter series achieves high COPs thanks to its reluctance DC motor for compressor, DC motor for fan and Swing compressor. This series also delivers a range of energy-saving functions, including Intelligent eye and the Econo mode .

Quiet Operation

Daikin has achieved significantly lower sound levels for both the indoor and outdoor units. This function decreases the operation sound level by 3 dB below the Low setting.

Indoor unit quiet operation

This series offers the choice of “5-step”, “quiet” or “Automatic” fan speeds. This wide range of settings allows multi-level control of the fan speed to suit your requirements. For example, Outdoor unit quiet operation decreases the sound level 3 dB below the “Low” setting guarantees you a good night’s sleep.

Outdoor unit quiet operation

Outdoor unit quiet operation is now available in all outdoor models from the 2.5 to 7.1 kW class. This function decreases operation sound 3 dB below the rated operation, and provides an ultra-low 43 dB for the RKS25D. (Capacity may decrease when Outdoor unit quiet operation is selected.)

Advanced Photocatalytic Air Purifying

The range of clean features includes the photocatalytic air-purifying filters, Mould-Proof Operation and Wipe-Clean Flat Panel.

Titanium apatite photocatalytic air-purifying filter

Titanium apatite is a new photocatalytic material with superior adsorption power. Besides mould and odours, titanium apatite also effectively adsorbs and decomposes bacteria and viruses across its entire surface. The photocatalyst is activated simply by exposure to natural light.

These filters are not medical devices.
Benefits such as the adsorption and removal decomposition of bacteria and viruses are only effective for substances that are collected on and in direct contact with the Titanium Apatite Photocatalytic Air-Purifying Filter.

Effect of Titanium Apatite Photocatalyst

Apatite adsorbs bacteria and viruses. At the same time, the photocatalyst oxidises odour components, breaking them down. Viruses are decomposed into clumps of protein and removed.

Photocatalytic deodorising filters are made of titanium oxide.

Mold-proof operation

Fan-only operation can be set to run automatically for 1 hour when cooling or drying operations are stopped in order to dry the inside of the indoor unit and reduce the generation of mould and odours.

Wipe-clean flat panel

Flat panel models can be clean instantly with a single wipe of a cloth across their smooth surface. If more thorough cleaning is required, the panel can also be easily removed from the unit.
