Scope of Works:

Strip out of old chiller plant, air handling units, fan coil units and water tower.
Design, supply and install new Daikin Heat Recovery VRV-III Systems, Heat-Recovery Ventilation (HRV/VAM) Systems, all required builders works, ceiling works, electrical works and advanced Daikin iTouch - System Controller for Optimised Control.
Associated CAD drawings, O&M's, Client Handover, Ongoing Maintenance to qualify for 5 year warranty.

The long established holiday company, Holidaybreak, contacted us for advice on how to improve their working environment. Staff were complaining of being either too hot or too cold.

Kool-It were appointed to provide a new heating, cooling and ventilation system, to replace an outdated chilled water central plant system, within the main call centre and surrounding perimeter offices. Expensive repair bills and failing existing equipment meant that it had to be done quickly.

Kool-It specified Daikin's new VRV-III Heat-Recovery VRV system for the site - comprising of 51 indoor fan coil units (a mixture of Roundflow Cassettes, Compact Cassettes and Wall Mounted units), 8 outdoor heat recovery units and 5 heat recovery ventilation (HRV/VAM) units.

All internal work had to be completed out of normal call centre hours (after 9pm) to enable the call centre to function as normal during the day. The call centre was cleared each and every night and all works were done to a strict installation schedule without disruption to the call centre staff.

Call centre staff are now enjoying an optimised, fresh, environment to work within and the accounts department are enjoying significantly reduced running costs compared to their previous, antiquated, system!
